Our client is currently seeking a Senior HSE Advisor to provide HSE expertise and guidance to the business and projects. The role will be based in thier North Sydney office with some domestic travel.  

The major accountabilities of this role include, but are not limited to: 

• Providing leadership, feedback and assistance to the business in HSE matters
• Identifying HSE exposures & opportunities and developing a targeted HSE Improvement Plan 
• Building solid relationship and engaging with relevant project personnel to ensure early involvement of HSE at project proposal and budgets, award and mobilisation phases
• Drive progress and assume hands-on management and implementation of HSE processes & tools of all relevant WorleyParsons OneWay systems, standards and processes and where required develop procedures and tools to meet requirements 
• Facilitate implementation of HSE processes and tools by actively visiting work locations and sites to assess the HSE risk and effectiveness of HSE systems in place 

This role will suit a candidate with: 

• Demonstrated thorough understanding of current OHS legislation and proven ability to apply this knowledge in an engineering / project management environment 
• Previous experience working within a management team  
• Direct experience in the operation, construction, construction or maintenance of hydrocarbons, industrial infrastructure, power and/or minerals and metals industries 
• Site and construction experience
